Please do yourself a favor and make your way to this place! It’s a hidden gem in Mid City. We had several small plates for our dinner and they did not disappoint. The Happy Hour specials are great too. I’m definitely coming back and you should too!

Great old fashion and Margarita. Bartender and Chef are incredible and presentation is masterful. A must return spot to try whole menu.

Rosella is a really special neighborhood restaurant with full bar service and a really unique menu. I travel to New Orleans about once a year and this is the first restaurant I'm reviewing because it such a special place that doesn't get the traffic that it deserves. The food is incredible. We had Oysters Casino and the smoked catfish dip and both were incredible. The seasoning was perfect, the ingredients were excellent, and the presentation was delightful. Our main dishes were all amazing. One of us got the filet, another the vegetarian lasagna, and I got the cold fired chicken waldorf. Again, all of us would order the same meals again. I'm seriously reconsidering cancelling a reservation tomorrow to come back to Rosella. This will now be our go to each time we come back to NOLA.

Wow! This place used to be a breakfast joint. Now it's a neighborhood diner type place with hidden fine dining in it. While there is a burger and a corn dog on the menu, my companion and I dined on smoked catfish dip, tempura shrimp rollups, scallops with roe, and short ribs with grits. Service seemed to be a little slow, but it was Superbowl weekend. This is a great, out-of-the way place to eat.

Can’t recommend more! Despite arriving 30 minutes early, we were warmly welcomed by the owner and her son as they were coming in. They let us grab a table and drinks before the kitchen opened. This Mid-City gem boasts an impressive wine selection and unique cocktails. Even Paradise Park is on tap for the simple beer lovers. They're family-friendly, with a kid's menu featuring corndogs and fun activities. The jukebox, filled with the owner's family's old 45s, adds a harmonic personal touch. The food is unique, especially the loaded potato gnocchi. It's simple yet exquisite, each bite a surprising symphony of flavor. Rosella is more than just a restaurant; it's tuned to be a community hub. We left feeling welcome, satisfied, and eager to return. Happy hour awaits!

Had an anniversary date at this warm neighborhood restaurant. Really love how funky and fun the vibes are. The hostess helped ensure I ate well as a vegan, including a delicious vegan cookie dessert she made herself. The food was all very tasty & interesting, and the cocktails creative. We enjoyed feeling like we were at a friend’s house for dinner and look forward to coming back!

Last time I was here it was a Ruby Slipper, so I was long overdue. Immediately we were greeted by a warm, welcoming staff and seated wherever we liked. We got the daily special, the famed corndog. It's Enormous! And it's a sausage. Loved it. The mushroom toast was also delish for our 2nd appetizer. Next were the scallops and the lasagna. WOW, both were very good. We ended up having to bring some corn dog and lasagna home. It was just too much food.
